— DAY 4: FRIENDSHIP —
We give thanks for friendship, and for those who have been there for us throughout our lives. We give thanks for all our “mates”: classmates, workmates, teammates, and roommates. We cannot go through life alone; our friendships are what sustain us and inspire us. We give thanks for our companions on the journey, for those who we can confide in and with whom we can be vulnerable. We give thanks for people who make us laugh, who encourage us to be brave and unconstrained, our sidekicks and partners in mischief. We give thanks for the people with whom we can be authentically and truly ourselves. We give thanks for friendship in its many forms.
