TJ served as the First Parish Choir’s Tenor Section Leader for more than 10 years before becoming the Interim Choir Director and now permanent Music Director.

He holds two Bachelors degrees from Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in French and Francophone Studies (B.A., magna cum laude) and Music Performance (B. Mus., voice performance, magna cum laude), as well as a Masters in French with a specialization in culture, civilization, and society from Middlebury College. He teaches French language and francophone culture at Natick High School.

TJ is a linguist (native level in English and French, intermediate in Italian, and novice in German) and plays piano, alto sax, and clarinet. He has conducted multiple school musicals and instrumental groups and served as a cantor for the Good Shepherd Parish in Wayland, supporting congregational singing and previewing new music with the congregation before weekday masses. His teaching style is methodical, collaborative, and creative; come join the choir to learn more!
