There is so much going on at First Parish this month! Here is a schedule of our upcoming events, and links to pages with more information; be sure you subscribe to our weekly newsletter for timely updates.

You are warmly invited to join us for our events and worship services during this Christmas Season of hope, peace, joy, and love.


Chronological Schedule of Events

  • Friday, December 6th – Christmas Party, Caroling, and Cookie Decorating
  • Sunday, December 8th – All-Music Sunday (10:30 AM)
  • Sunday, December 15th – First Parish Christmas Pageant at 10:30 AM
  • Sunday, December 22nd – a Yuletide service at 10:30 AM to honor the darkest night
  • Tuesday, December 24th – Christmas Eve Services at 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM
  • Sunday, December 29th – Sunday Service to ring in the New Year

Christmas Party & Caroling – Dec. 6th

Join us for an evening of appetizers, ham, desserts, wine & soft drinks, and plenty of Christmas cheer! Childcare for very young children will be available from 6:00-8:30. Family cookie decorating will take place from 6:00-6:30 pm in the Parish Hall, followed by pizza and a movie for the children and the reception for adults. Then at 8:00, everyone will gather together in the Sanctuary to sing favorite carols of the season. A fire pit will be going outdoors for anyone who’d like to prolong the festivities after the caroling!  Click here for more about the Christmas Party & Caroling.

Christmas Pageant – Dec. 17th

Our Church School Christmas Pageant is back again! On Sunday, December 15th our children and youth will re-enact the story of Christmas. Rehearsals will be held during Sunday school, after church on Sunday, December 10th, and a FULL run-through before the service on December 18th.   More about the First Parish Christmas Pageant.

Christmas Eve Lessons & Carols – Dec. 24th

We will be having in-person Christmas Eve services at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM with reservations required as well as vaccinations & masks. They will be traditional Services of Lessons and Carols, including beautiful carols, songs, a Christmas message, and concluding with singing Silent Night and Joy to the World.
