Musicians of the Old Post Road Classical Music Open Rehearsal in Air-Conditioned Sanctuary

Musicians of the Old Post Road, headquartered at First Parish, invites First Parishioners and their friends to an open-rehearsal prior to their recording of a new CD, Into the Light: Unearthed Treasures by Christoph Graupner. This concert was presented by MOPR in 2023 and it won them the American Musicalogical Society’s Noah Greenburg Award last November in Denver, Colorado.
The open-rehearsal format will include some comments about the pieces as they practice for the recording sessions. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy some wine and cheese and conversation with the musicians. We hope you’ll be able to come hear great music and get better acquainted with this wonderful group!
