Chocolate Sunday!

  • Date: Sunday, February 11, 2024
  • Time: 11:30am12:30pm
  • Location: First Parish Church in Weston, 349 Boston Post Road, Weston, MA 02493

Join us on Sunday, February 11th for our annual Chocolate Sunday! In addition to coffee and tea at our usual after-church social hour, for this wildly popular tradition, we will have a wide array of chocolatey treats on hand in our well-ventilated Parish Hall.

We are looking for volunteers to bring chocolate snacks – the more variety, the better! Click here to sign up to bring a treat. You can bring anything chocolate-related; share your favorite fun or unique chocolate creations. Our extraordinary chocolate fountain will be humming away, complete with a fountain attendant to do the dipping and keep everything clean/sanitary and orderly.

In addition to donations and the chocolate fountain, we are holding a raffle for some extra special treats provided by some of our favorite chocolatiers & bakers. The raffle will benefit Family Promise MetroWest, a local non-profit that supports families experiencing homelessness or inadequate housing (more information below!).

It is sure to be lots of fun for all ages! Whether you consider it a special occasion or an annoying Hallmark holiday, we can let Valentine’s Day be a reminder of the importance of love in all forms (AND an excellent excuse to eat chocolate!)
