Summer Worship Consortium

In July and August, First Parish in Weston switches gears, and our Sunday programs feature a more relaxed worship and fellowship.

This year, we are joining with local Unitarian Universalist congregations to host services this summer as part of a new summer worship consortium consisting of four congregations:

This is a fun chance to visit other nearby churches, meet new friends, and share ideas, in a laid-back summer setting. Join us in sharing worship with our neighbors and friends!

Logistics

  • All summer services start at 10:30 AM.
    • First Parish Framingham will live-stream the Sunday Worship from the UUA General Assembly in Baltimore on June 22nd. There is a hymn sing before the service officially starts at 11:00 AM.

  • Childcare will not be provided this summer.
  • Each church will provide light refreshments after the service.
  • We encourage parish members to organize carpools!

Offering Recipient

The offering collected during our 2025 summer services will go to support UU Mass Action, our state-wide Unitarian Universalist organizing and advocacy group.

Their mission is to organize and encourage the 20,000 Unitarian Universalists and 142 congregations in Massachusetts to fight for justice in direct collaboration and partnership with larger campaigns and coalitions. They identify opportunities for individuals and congregations to combat oppression and encourage us to live our shared values. UU Mass Action is a strong backbone for UU activism in Massachusetts, and we are proud to offer our support.
