Forum: The MBTA Communities Act & Weston’s Path to Compliance

Join us for a housing-focused introductory forum on the MBTA Communities Act—a
Massachusetts state housing law—what it is, why it matters for Weston, and how the
Town plans to comply. This will prepare residents for voting on Weston’s compliance
plan at Town Meeting on October 15. Representatives from town government will be on
hand to answer your questions.

Where: Church Parlor, First Parish Church in Weston
We’ll also briefly touch on “Yes in God’s Backyard,” a Massachusetts initiative that may
interest folks beyond Weston.
