Monthly Bristol Lodge Supper Preparation

Our current heatwave influenced the menu for our dinner on Aug. 25th.  Chicken salad, cold green beans vinaigrette, rolls and blueberry cake (or bars or cookies of your choice) sounds good for weather like we’ve had this week!  Recipes for chicken salad (or use your own) and a blueberry cake are on the church website and in the Breezeway.  Mary Menino will purchase gift cards for ice cream at Lizzy’s on Main St. in Waltham for each diner.  We did this in August 2019 and it was a big hit. Please contact Mary Menino (mary.menino@gmail.com) if you can contribute chicken salad, dessert, or fresh green beans (need 20 lbs. in total – just volunteer a certain number of pounds and bring them clean /trimmed to FPCW kitchen by 1:30 on Wednesday, Aug. 25; we will blanch them and add a vinaigrette dressing).
